We have loved this tea shop for well over a decade and are so excited to have this wonderful tea in our shop! And, we couldn’t be happier that Cathy and her family have taken charge now that Brian has retired. For the past ten years, there was a wonderful Tea Shop named Mr. Trombly’s Tea along with a kitchen shop in Duncans Mills. The owner, Brian Trombly and I became friends over the years and I was also best friends with his Buyer. With a love for tea, and these connections, needless to say, I became well acquainted with tea. So, when Mr.Trombly’s Tea sadly closed, we were asked by a few of the merchants to please open a Tea shop, and… we began to think about it. Our decision was made when we called all the employees (whom I’m proud to call my friends) to see if they wanted to go back to work and their answer was, Yes! So, that’s how our new Duncans Mills Tea Shop came to be.
We became the new owners of a Tea Shop in this beautiful California Russian River town of Duncans Mills on January 1st, 2019! We painted, put new carpet down and replaced a couple of windows. We officially opened March 1st, 2019. I’m not sure Mike and I would have taken on this venture, if not for our very supportive team who also “live and breath” tea! I hope you will stop by to meet them soon.
We carry more than 130 loose leaf teas, as well as an organic line of tea bags (Buddha Teas) including CBD teas. We’ve filled the shelves with mugs, infusers, kettles, and some much-needed and beloved funky, fun and traditional teapots. We didn’t stop there though, we added a variety of soaps, lotions, candles and diffusers from the Michel Line and, true to our love of the outdoors, found beautiful acrylic glasses perfect for any beverage whether camping or sitting around a pool.
